Typically a half-court basketball court will take 1.5 - 2 hrs! However additional three-point lines and other add-ons can extend the process!
A full-court basketball court typically can be done in one four hour sitting.
Is My Driveway Big Enough For A Court?
90% of clients who ask us this question DID have enough space for a court! Home Court Advantage has a unique three-point stencil that allows us to fit a three point to any driveway.
What Should I Do Before My Driveway Is Painted?
We recommend that you brush off any dirt from the driveway (in order to avoid any discoloring of the lines we paint). The most important thing is to make sure that the surface is dry prior to our arrival (with the exception of rain).
Do I Need To Be On Site When You Paint?
No need, most of our courts are done when our clients aren't home! We can send you an invoice if you are not able to be there in person.
How Long Does It Take For The Court To Dry?
Typically it takes 30 minutes for the court to be dry to the touch. But, we strongly recommend not driving/stepping on the court for 8 hours to avoid dirt being trapped in the paint.
How Long Does The Court Last?
Re-striping should occur on your driveway lot every two-three years, or when the remaining coating has been visibly reduced to 75% of its original appearance. However, some paint jobs can last three to four years.
What Happens When It Rains?
No worries mother nature has a mind of her own, that's why we leave two days open per-week (as rain makeup days)!
